The 18th edition of the Mental Illness Foundation’s Golf Tournament

The 18th edition of the Mental Illness Foundation’s Golf Tournament was held June 9 last at the Elm Ridge Country Club of Île Bizard under the honorary co-presidency of François Côté, President and General Manager, Emergis Inc., and Jean Pierre Ouellet, Vice-Chairman, RBC Capital Markets.

This benefit event gave to the Mental Illness Foundation the chance to present to the 235 invited golfers its new spokespersons: Mrs. Denise Robert, film producer and Mr. Denys Arcand, internationally renowned filmmaker.

Hosted by the sportscaster Claude Quenneville and his brother, Dr. Yves Quenneville, Psychiatrist at Notre-Dame Hospital, the Golf Tournament and its auctions enabled the Foundation to collect net incomes of $251,000 which will be devoted to its programs and services.
